You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

The jaal on this ivory top is a three-colour composition — blue blooms, blue paisley buti and mustard yellow-green vine stems each pressed from a separately carved teak block, building from vine skeleton to flower to finishing detail across the full ivory ground.

The density and continuity of the jaal — flowers connecting to paisley connecting to vine without interruption — is the hallmark of a master block printer. Every motif placed by eye. Every colour aligned by hand.

The Making

Three Passes. One Garden. No Machine.

Three blocks, three ink trays, three passes across 2.5 metres of ivory cotton — each colour aligned precisely to the one before it by hand and eye alone.

Mustard Vine — First Pass

The mustard yellow-green vine stem and leaf outline block is pressed first, establishing the flowing skeleton of the jaal before any flower is added.

Blue Blooms — Second Pass

The large blue floral bloom block is pressed into the spaces the vine defines — each flower placed within the flowing stem network by eye.

Blue Paisley Buti — Third Pass

Small blue paisley buti fill the remaining ivory negative spaces — completing the jaal so no area of the fabric sits empty.

Blue Border — Hem Detail

The medium blue hem border with white floral medallion and geometric repeat is stamped separately at the lower edge — a clean finishing band.
