Heritage & Craft
Resist, Speckle, Reveal. Rustic by Design.
The bold ivory chevron-fan motif on this terracotta top is hand block printed — wide radiating lines forming a feather-like fan, simple yet striking. Around it, scattered tie-dye speckle marks bloom across the fabric — small circular dye-resist spots that occur where the cloth was bound before dyeing, creating tonal variation that no machine print can replicate.
This combination of precise block printing and organic resist-dye texture is what gives the fabric its distinctive rustic, artisanal character.
The Making
Bind, Dye, Print, Reveal
Two techniques combine on this fabric — resist-dye binding for the organic speckle texture, and hand block printing for the precise chevron-fan and leaf buti motifs.
Small sections of white cotton are tightly bound before dyeing — these bound points resist the terracotta dye, creating the scattered ivory speckle marks visible across the top fabric.
The bound fabric is submerged in warm terracotta-rust dye — the bound spots resist the colour, leaving pale ivory circles ringed by deeper rust tone once unbound.
Once dyed and dried, the bold chevron-fan motif is hand block printed in ivory ink across the speckled terracotta ground — scattered loosely for a natural, breathing composition.
A separate small branching leaf buti block is densely stamped across the bottom fabric in a tight diagonal grid — ivory on the same warm terracotta ground.

Wear It Your Way
Earthy. Bold. Effortlessly Grounded.
Terracotta is a colour that feels both ancient and contemporary — the warm rust tone flatters every skin tone and pairs naturally with gold and brown accessories. The bold chevron-fan top makes a quiet statement; the dense leaf buti bottom adds texture without competing.
Perfect for festive daytime wear, contemporary ethnic styling, or any occasion that calls for rustic elegance. Unstitched — tailored to your exact fit.

The Dupatta
Plaid Above. Chevron Below. Everything Connected.
The upper body carries a bold ivory hand-drawn plaid/windowpane grid in wavy resist lines, overlaid with alternating deeper rust solid squares and scattered leaf buti — the same motif as the bottom fabric. A thin stripe divider leads into the lower border, where the large ivory chevron-fan motifs from the kurta top march in a clean row, framed by stripe bands and finished with a deep rust solid hem stripe.

Wash & Care
Keep the Terracotta Warm. Keep the Ivory Crisp.
- Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
- Do not soak or scrub printed areas. No bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Dry in shade — sunlight fades terracotta and dulls the ivory print.
- Iron on low heat from reverse side only. Do not wring harshly.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
