Heritage & Craft
The Art of the Shibori Burst
Each white starburst is created by gathering fabric into a point, binding tightly, and dipping into vivid pink dye. The result — a radiating bloom that can never be exactly replicated.
Pure cotton khaddar holds the dye beautifully, stays breathable against skin, and grows more beautiful with every gentle wash.
The Making
Pinch, Bind, Dip, Bloom
Every starburst on this fabric is made by hand — one bind at a time — through an ancient Japanese resist-dyeing technique adapted by South Asian artisans.
Plain white cotton khaddar is washed, dried, and laid flat before any binding begins.
Fabric is pinched at multiple points and tightly bound with thread — each bind creating one white starburst resist centre.
Bound fabric is submerged in vibrant pink dye bath. Deeper pink absorbs into outer fabric; white centres stay resist-protected.
After shade drying and heat-setting, bindings are removed — revealing the burst pattern that gives each piece its unique identity.
Wear It Your Way
Feminine. Fresh. Effortlessly Elegant.
The solid deep pink bottom grounds the shibori top with perfect tonal balance. The flowing dupatta adds a layer of artisan detail that elevates this from casual to occasion-ready in an instant.

The Dupatta
Where Geometry Meets Craft
White diamond and square shibori motifs float across deep pink cotton — each one formed by a precise fold and bind, surrounded by watercolour-like dye gradients. At 240 cm, it drapes with effortless femininity.
